2024 Reunion Social Highlghts

2024 Alumni Reunion Social

  

  • The  2024 Alumni Reunion Social was held on Saturday, June 1st at the  Veteran's Pavilion on the grounds of the Mayville Museum. Approximately 44  people attended and enjoyed plenty of good food and friendship. Eight  Alumni from the Class of 1974 received a special "Golden Diploma"  in honor of 50 years and there were no Alumni from the Class of 1999  present to receive "Wildcat Pins" in honor of 25 years. Two  special Diplomas were also awarded - a "Diamond Diploma"   celebrating 75 years was presented to Harold Rappuhn, Class of 1949 and a  "Memorial Diploma" was presented to Josh Lobdell, in honor of  his late father Archie Lobdell from the Class of 1974. A welcome to the  newest members of the MHS Alumni, the Class of 2024, was given by the 1974 Class President and Vice President Mike and Linda Klarich Forys.  Craig  Weaver, the 1974 Norman Duncan recipient did the honors of presenting 2024      graduate Jordan Burke with the Norman Duncan memorial Award, along with  the Alumni Scholarship. Thank you to all who attended! Mark your  calendars now and plan to attend the 2025 Reunion Social - scheduled for   June 21, 2025 - at the Veteran's Pavilion, Mayville.

Memorial Diploma

This year marked the first time that the Alumni Association has given out a "Memorial Diploma" - Pictured above are Christina WoodLobdell - '74 and her son Josh -'98, holding a Memorial Golden Diploma in honor of Archie Lobdell -'74, (husband and father), who passed away in 2021.

2024 Duncan memorial & Alumni Scholarship Recipient

Congratulations to Jordan Burke on receiving the 2024 Duncan Memorial Award and the 2024 Alumni Scholarship Award. She is the daughter of Bayne and Michelle Burke. Her future plans include attending Michigan State University to pursue a degree in Nursing.
