Joyce Ellen Androsuk, 58, of Dryden passed away Monday, October 28, 2024.
She was born January 25, 1966 in Caro, the daughter of Orville and Louise (Haight) McConnell.
She married her loving husband Tony Androsuk and was employed as an administrative assistant by MacQueen in Lake Orion.
Joyce enjoyed crafting, crocheting, sewing and shopping for the perfect antique. Most of all she loved her pets more than anything referring to them as her babies.
She is survived by her husband Tony and two daughters; Barbie and Susan. She was preceded in death by her Mother. A Celebration is being planned for a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont.
Timothy Edward Raymond, known affectionately to all as Tim, embarked on his final adventure on October 23, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on a sunny September day in 1957, in the small town of Caro, Michigan, Tim's life was as vibrant and multifaceted as the autumn leaves that heralded his arrival.
Tim's journey through life was one of joy and laughter. He left this world as he lived in it, in Lapeer, Michigan, surrounded by the love and laughter of his family. Tim's heart was forever captured by his high school sweetheart, Cindy, whom he married on a beautiful summer day in 1977 in Warren, Michigan. Together, they turned life's ordinary moments into extraordinary memories and raised a family that was his pride and joy: Nicole (Riley) Ferguson, Jacob (Emily) Raymond, and Dani Raymond. His grandchildren—Calvin, Rylee, Max, and Eliose—were the apples of his eye, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He is also survived by his brothers Bob Raymond, Joe Raymond, Ron Raymond, and Chris Raymond.
Tim's professional life was spent at General Motors, where he retired in 2007, not just with a gold watch but with a treasure trove of stories. He was a man of many talents and interests. His garden was the envy of all, and his fishing tales were, well, almost believable. Hunting was in his blood, and rock collecting was his excuse to get his hands dirty, which he loved.
A master of horseshoes, Tim's throw was as accurate as his wit. Poker nights were legendary, not just for the card-playing but for the camaraderie. Tim was also an artist with a paintbrush, capturing the beauty of nature that he so adored. His gravel pit was his sanctuary, where bonfires blazed and stories flowed freely under the starlit sky.
Tim was preceded in departure by his parents, Edward and Patricia. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the art of storytelling.
Describing Tim is far from simple: he was wise before his age, creative in every endeavor, and passionate about life. He was the kind of guy who could find humor in the smallest things and teach you about the stars while accidentally setting the lawn on fire with a wayward ember.
Tim's life was a masterclass in making the most of every moment. He showed us all how to live with gusto, love without reservation, and laugh in the face of adversity. His absence will be felt deeply, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him to find joy in the everyday.
